THE V’GER ELECTRIC CAMPER

I am really looking forward to getting the V’Ger on the road this fall. I have already purchased a lot of the materials and equipment for the construction of the base vehicle and the camper. The motorcycle frame,12V Chest Fridge, TV, audio system, a 2000 lb. capacity 12V winch to pull the camper onto the bed and LED lights for the inside and outside. I also have the 12V charger/convertor and batteries to power all of it plus a 12V to AC convertor to power the TV, laptop, audio system and charge phones and other items.

The camper box walls will be built using outdoor sign panels for the walls which are hard insulating foam in the center with thin fiberglass bonded to both sides this will work great for insulation, easy cleaning and and is made to be out in the weather all the time. The doors, windows, vents, lights for the camper will all come from Teardrop Trailer Parts.

THE V’GER CONSISTS OF THE BASE VEHICLE (SEE AT LINK AT TOP OF PAGE) WHICH IS A 5X8 TILT BED ALUMINUM UTILITY TRAILER WITH THE SOLAR PANEL RACK BOLTED TO IT.               THE CAMPER IS PULLED INTO TRAILER BED WITH A 12V ATV WINCH MOUNTED INSIDE THE MOTORCYCLE FRAME AND LOCKED TO BED.

I am looking forward to proving something I have thought about for a long time; that electric vehicles can do pretty well anything.

To this end I am building this vehicle and will take it on a 5000 mile unplugged trip with solar power only by using existing technology and not some power-from-the-air or perpetual motion dingbat idea. I have seen many harebrained ideas on IndieGoGo and Kickstarter but this is not one of them.

The technology, parts and materials I am using for V’Ger already exist and can be purchased by anyone but no one, so far as I can find, has tried putting the pieces into this form.
